When crisis hits, and at times when our faith is shaken, our human response is to run or to retreat. But scripture teaches that when we need God to draw close, we must draw close to him(James 4:8).
Our hearts have been broken by the scenes that we have witnessed in Haiti. We must respond. We must seek God and get as close as we can to his heart. Pray today for a heart that breaks for people the way God's heart breaks for people. Pray for courage to act. Pray for a sacrificial heart as we seek how much to contribute to the needs.
